Boba Review and GIVEAWAY

I became very interested in baby wearing 2 1/2 years ago after my daughter was born. I've tried a bunch of different carriers and wasn't totally impressed. They all worked fine but I could tell my daughter got sick of them quickly. After I came across the Boba Carrier 3G, I decided I really wanted to try it out. I had a friend who had a Boba Carrier and a daughter the same age as mine. After hearing her rave about it, I decided to try it out. Once I got my Boba, we tried to put my daughter in it and she freaked out. She's a free spirited kind of child and I guess she's not okay being restrained. Luckily, I have a sweet little newborn who LOVES it. The Boba Carrier 3G is intended for babies and children between 7-45 lbs. This newer version of the Boba allows you to make a few adjustments so you can carry a newborn. My little guy is baby #3 in our family so he has two older siblings that like to touch, squeeze, kiss, and cuddle him a little too much. His big sister in particular is always all over him and let's be honest, she's a germ factory. She's 2 1/2 and touches everything. My little guy was born last month which means he arrived at the beginning of the worst germ season of all! I've totally turned into a germ freak so this carrier is A DREAM COME TRUE. I can carry him around and keep him safe from germ covered hands and take care of all the lovely things a mother has to do during the day. It feels 100% secure on my body. It keeps Baby Bro close to my chest so he feels comfortable and safe. After I put him in it, he usually falls asleep shorty after.
I strongly recommend reading EVERYTHING in the instruction booklet and PRACTICING each hold. I know that might sound weird but I got really frustrated at first because I couldn't figure out how to get Baby Bro in there without making him mad because I kept trying to situate him. Have your spouse or significant other standing there to help the first few times as well. Remember that it's new for your baby or child as well, they might not like it at first because it new and might seem strange so ease into it. They are so comfortable for you and your child once you've figured it out. The Boba Carrier 3G also has tons of little features like
  • Shoulder strap holders to keep purse or diaper bag in place
  • Redesigned removable, adjustable (via snaps) footrests
  • Zippered pocket for removable, adjustable-height sleeping hood
  • Multiple pockets for on-the-go storage
  • Converts to an infant carrier without a separate insert
  • Adjustable infant head support function
  • Redesigned easy-slide chest clip
It's intended to be a front carrier and back carrier (both positions the baby is facing the parent).

So far, I've been very impressed with this carrier. I'm excited to try the different positions as Baby Bro gets older. And hopefully my daughter will see him in it and liking it so she'll want to try it out.
